Just more advanced shipping options and not having to do a work-around having to make customers input location for a digital product. Although it's clever, and I like that kind of thinking trying to get the problem solved, I need actual shipping options and integrations that can help me make beacons my main place to sell my small-business items.
I would really appreciate it since I do want to stick with Beacons because of how clean and easy to use it is.

Can we please have a way to generate the shipping label? After the customer purchases the physical product, would love for the label to be created with tracking number. That would help. And a way to download the orders in a list file to bulk print.

How can you input shipping and tax on physical products? It is not a good store front to sell physical products. Please give us a suggestion on when these updates might be expected?

There is no place to add it, even manually. Tax is a fix price based upon the product. But shipping would vary by zip code. Right now, I'd either have to raise my price across the board to cover potential shipping or eat the cost myself. It's not fair to make everyone pay a higher rate, just so I could potentially ship to Alaska or the Virgin Islands. Shipping should either be able to have an API connected to a shipping product, or US Zip code tables for the origin and destination. And then be able to calc by weight that we manually add for each product.

Hello Mama Lucero — totally hear you on this. Just so I can point you in the right direction, can you clarify a couple things: are you looking to have shipping + tax calculated automatically at checkout, or are you trying to add them manually (like baking it into the product price or adding a separate line item)? Do your shipping/tax amounts need to change based on the customer’s location (state/country), or would a single flat rate work? And what’s the biggest issue you’re running into right now with physical products — checkout can’t be completed, totals aren’t accurate, or something else?

A built-in way to generate shipping labels (with tracking) after a physical product purchase, plus an option to download orders as a list for bulk printing, makes a lot of sense. Feature Request: Option to Add Tracking Numbers for Orders

Hi Beacons Team,
It would be really helpful to have an option to add tracking numbers or tracking links to each order and automatically send a notification email to customers once their order ships.
Right now, I’m printing my shipping labels through Pirate Ship, but I have to manually email each customer their tracking link. Having a way to either upload tracking info or mark orders as fulfilled with tracking would save a lot of time and make the process feel more professional.
Thank you for considering this! I really appreciate all the improvements you continue to make, Beacons has been such a great tool for my business.

I mange a few clients who have a small business and they would benefit the option to add a shipping fee at checkout or like local pick up.

Jacob Choi-Durham 1. It would be cool to have a default shipping option with a carrier or have customers choose one like USPS, UPS, FedEx, or create shipping labels, track orders.
- I think being able to have a shipping price and adjust it for each item. As well as create shipping labels that are trackable.
- There are no issues as of right now because I currently sell on Etsy, but would like to move onto here for people who don't want to make an Etsy account to buy my items. It's just the way it's set up on here on beacons is like the customers are getting a "digital" order that they have to put their location info for, which is fine.
I appreciate the response! I love beacons and all it has to offer.
