Meet the creators of an affiliate link

We use Beacons’ affiliate program for our digital product. Our affiliates share their unique affiliate links, and the checkout correctly displays “You are shopping with [affiliate].” However, the checkout page also displays a clickable “Meet the creator” section linking to our main Beacons profile. If a customer clicks our creator profile and then purchases the same product through our store, the affiliate may no longer receive credit for the sale.
Is there a way to disable or hide the “Meet the creator” section on affiliate-linked product/checkout pages, or can affiliate attribution persist when the customer navigates to the creator profile and later completes the purchase?

Hi Tiffany Goucher — thanks for flagging this, and totally hear you on the concern around affiliates potentially losing credit if someone clicks into the “Meet the creator” section mid-checkout. This feedback is super helpful. I’m going to share it with the team so we can look into whether that section can be hidden/disabled on affiliate-linked checkouts, or if attribution can persist even after navigating to the creator profile. We’ll follow up here once we have more info.
