Just like the comment on a post flow, it would be great if you guys can enable a follow first feature when somebody DM's a keyword.

Thanks for the suggestion here, Yoshnee Raveendran — totally get why a “follow first” gate on DM keywords would be useful. Quick clarifiers so we can understand the exact flow you’re aiming for: which DM keyword setup are you using (Instagram DM automation vs another platform vs Beacons inbox), and where exactly should the follow requirement kick in? If someone DMs the keyword but isn’t following yet, should we prompt them to follow and have them DM again, or should the reply automatically send as soon as they follow? And are you looking to lock the entire keyword response behind following, or only specific pieces (like a link/freebie or the start of a sequence)?

Jacob Choi-Durham Hi Jacob. The automation is for instagram. what i am asking for is already built for the comment in a post. There is an option to ask the user to follow first. Is there a reason this cannot be implemented for when an individual DM's or replied to a story? The follow first feature I mean? It already exists for comment on a post.
